Water & Sanitation Agency, FDA has issued Notification on 15-01-2020 in connection with Regularization WASA Faisalabad Employees Appointed under Rule 17-A. WASA Faisalabad has regularized these employees with effect from their date of joining. Detail is as under:
Notification of Regularization WASA Faisalabad Employees
In pursuance of Government of the Punjab Services & General Administration Department (regulations wing) vide letter No. SOR-III(S&GAD)2-8/2018, dated 29/10/2019, issued in compliance of the order of Lahore High courts, Lahore in Writ Petition No. 51484/2019, dated 20/09/2019, the contract employment of the employees who were appointed after 2009 under rule, 17-A of the Punjab Civil Servants (Appointment & Conditions of Service) Rules, 1974, was unlawful obviously, they had to be appointed on regular basis.
In view of above, the Competent Authority / Director Administration vide his orders dated 11/01/2020, has been pleased to regularize the services of following employees of WASA, Faisalabad who were appointed on contract basis under rule 17-A of the Punjab Civil Servants (Appointment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1974 after 2009, with effect from the respective dates of their joining in this agency as mentioned against each name in the list tabulated below at the copy of the Notification.
