Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued Notification on 30-01-2020 in connection with Revised Rates Special Pay for Private Secretaries and Personal Assistant. Detail is as under:
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that Governor Punjab has been pleased to revise the rates of Special Pay with effect from 01.07.2019, admissible only to the extent as Under:-
Revised Rates Special Pay for Private Secretaries & PAs

| Private Secretary to Secretaries, Additional Secretaries or any other officer of lower rank. | Rs.1200/- p.m. | Rs.1500/- p.m. |
| Personal Assistant to Chief Secretary, ACS, Secretaries, Additional Secretaries or any other officer of lower rank. | Rs.640/- p.m. | Rs.800/- p.m. |
- The terms & Conditions for grant of Special Pay, as applicable at present, will remain the same. Government announced this allowance in the budget 2019-20.
