Amendment in Appointment Rules Regarding Balloting 2020
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the civil servants act 1973 (LXXI of 1973) read with Notification No. S.R.O. 120(I)/98 dated 27th February 1998. The prime minister is pleased to direct that the following amendment shall be made in Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion, and Transfer) Rules 1973, namely:-
In the aforesaid rules,
In Rule 16, after the word “Basis” the words “through balloting” shall be omitted
As per my knowledge and understanding, now the balloting process for the posts of BPS-01 to BPS-05 will not take place. And Government has now omitted the word of through balloting. The government now will again do the appointments on a local basis without the balloting process. What is your opinion? I am right?
For your information Government of Pakistan, Establishment Division Issued Notification on 17th June 219 for grade 1-5 recruitment through balloting process and other related amendments in the rules 14, 15, 16 of the ESTA CODE Chapter One.
