Federal Education Minister, Mr. Shafqat Mahmood in a news conference on 14th May 2020 explained the Promotion Policy All Pakistan Education Boards 2020 Exams. This policy is for all private and regular students. Some points of the same policy are as under:

The Promotion Policy for various categories of students appearing in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th Class Exams is as under:
Students Already Cleared 9th & 1st Year Exam
The students who have already passed 9th and 1st Years Exams 2019 and they now wanted to appear in Annual Exam 2020 in 10th and 2nd-year exams 2020 are hereby passed. They will get 3% extra marks as they obtained in the 9th and 10th class exams. These 3% marked they will not add in each subject rather they will add in their total marks. The marks the students got in the 9th and 10th class will be now the same for their 10th and 12th class but just boards will add 3% more marks in total.
Students Failed in 40% subjects 9th & 1st Year
Those students who failed 40% in their 9th and 1st-year exams will get passing marks in their 10th and 12th-grade board exams.
Students Appearing in 9th and 10th Class Exams
The students who were appearing in the 9th and 11th class and could not due to cancellation of all board exams, the boards will promote these students and they will appear only in 10th class exams and 12th class exams. The marks they will get in these exams will they consider too for their 9th and 11th class.
Special Exam 2020
The Minister for Education announced special exams that the boards can give in September to November. For these exams, the students would have to inform up to 1st July whether they want to appear in these special exams or not. There are Four categories for the Special Exams.
- Composite 12th Class
Those students who are appearing in 2nd-year exams and taking composite exams for class 9th – 10th or 11th – 12th can take part in special exams.
- In Few Subjects giving exams
The students who were appearing in a few subjects in the recent exams and they had already passed other papers. These students can also take special exams in 2020.
- More than fail in 40%
The students who failed in the 9th and 11th classes of more than 40% in their previous exam 2019 will have to appear in the special exams.
- Grade Improvement
Those students who want to improve their grades can take also special exams.
Agr 2021 main bhi papers nahi huwe to combine intermediate k students ko bhi promote kia jaiga ya just regular students ko promote kia jaiga?
And 2020 main combine intermediate k students ko promote kia gaya tha?

i have cleared all subjects after supplemantry exams held in november but iam not pass in 9th and 10th physics after the announcement of 15th december result kindly tell me that is there any policy to reappear in exam and when will i have to appear or i will be declared pass in 10th class having one supply in 9th and 10th physics .

sir board ne kaha tha k jo students kuch subjects me improve krna chahte hain wo bhi ye special exams de skte hain but jab me kal board k office forum jama krwane gya to unho ne kaha k ab ye nhi ho rha agr ye forum jama krwaya to sarre k sarre exams dobara dene parre ge issi 10 date ko aur kuch bachon n e beghair parhe wo forum bhi jama krwa diya k unho ne kuch subjects m improve krna tha but phir board office ne kaha k ab to app ko iss 10 date ko sabhi exams 2nd year k dene parre ge
sir ab app btaye k is students ka kuch ho ga yan phir kuch nhi.
You have to contact the Board Authorities as Board changed policies many times.

According to policy they previously mentioned that 40% or less pass subject students will not be declared as pass.

Wilayat Hussain Islamia Degree College, Multan Sir meri aur bhi bohot se students ki ye tension hay keh jo F.Sc k students last year “Failed As A Whole” huway hen, in students se is saal special examination main first year ka exam lia jaey ga? Or second year ka? And both (1st year + 2nd year) ka? Because bohot se boys and girls is confusion ka shikaar hen. Wese laina to kisi aik part ka hi banta. Jese k fresh students ka ya to first year chora gaya ya second year. Please tell your opinion.

Dear sir, my son was in first year in 2018 and failed, after that he doesn’t appear in 2019 for second attempt as he was disheartened now in 2020 he changed his line fsc to Ics and study privately at home can he get promoted to next level as he missed one year between. Please guide and reply as he was so worried and as well me being a mother. He don’t want to miss another year.

Sir jo intermediate (F.Sc) students last year (2019) main failed as a whole hain, it means jo second year main fail honay ki wajah say 1st year and 2nd year both main fail ho kar, 2020 k exam k liyay combine 1st year, 2nd year k board exam k liyay apna admission karwa chukay hen, wo siraf first year ka exam day kar pass ho ja’ain gay ya nahin? Or second year ka dain gay? OR Both 1st and 2nd ka hi exam lia jaey ga? Agar 2no classes ka exam hi lia gaya to ye in students k saath ziyadti, haq talfi oar na insafi hogi. Because is saal 1st year ka exam nahin lia, next year siraf 2nd year ka lia jaey ga un say. Oar is saal 2nd year ka nahin hua, previous year ka 1st year hi kafi ho gaya. To sir failed as a whole, combine students ka bhi aik hi class ka exam laina banta hai asooli tor per. Please guide kijiyay.

My son was passed his 11th in 2018 annual as regular from Asghar Mall college Rwp with one subj compart.
Then his admission was sent in supply exam 2019 instead of annual 2019 as regular candidate and compart in Math and Physics. Now he have lost chance to qualify his Inter Exam. You are right but we have to wait for an exam till September to November and then after the exam would have to wait for the result for about 2 to 3 months more.
Sir what about the practical marks and what is the information about this special exams and when this info will be avalable.
There are chances that the policy Notification will be issued on 15-05-2020 and more chances that the practical marks will be @ a ratio of theory marks.
