I am here sharing the Latest Updates of the closing of Educational Institutions as updated on 18-11-2020. These are proposals. The Education Ministers of all Pakistan(Federal and Provincial) will finally decide on 23-11-2020. In view of the second wave of the global epidemic coronavirus, the Federal Ministry of Education has sent several suggestions regarding educational institutions to the provinces.

 

Latest Updates of Closing of Educational Institutions

 

According to sources, the Federal Ministry of Education has sent three different proposals to the provinces regarding closing educational sessions, exams, and educational institutions.

The first proposal regarding closing educational institutions has said that educational institutions should be closed from 24 November to 31 January or primary schools from 24 November, middle schools from 2 December when Higher Secondary Schools have been proposed to close from December 15.

Similarly, the Federal Ministry of Education has proposed to extend the educational session to May 31 instead of March.

Regarding exams, the Federal Ministry of Education has suggested the provinces to take matric and intermediate exams in June 2021.

 

Note: These are proposals from the Federal Government of Pakistan. The provincial Governments will also give their proposals on 23rd Nov 2020. Keeping in view all the proposals of all members, they will finally decide about the closure of schools, colleges, and universities. Before this, there was a meeting of ministers on 16-11-2020 and there was No decision of Holidays in Schools as they postponed the same proposal for the next week.
