Judicial Allowance to Subordinate Judiciary Allowed Time Scale Promotion

District Accounts Office Vehari has issued a letter on 21-12-2020 in connection with Judicial Allowance to Subordinate Judiciary Allowed Time Scale Promotion BPS-16 to BPS-17. The details of the same are as under:

Judicial Allowance to Subordinate Judiciary Allowed TSP

 

It is submitted that a number of subordinate judicial officers were allowed Time Scale Promotion (TSP) from BS-16 to BS-17 and drawing Judicial Allowance @ Rs.10000/- per month since their TSP instead of Rs.6000/- per month vide Law and parliamentary Affairs No. SO (Admn)3-2/2009(CMD)/3017 dated 07-09-2009 (copy enclosed).

The Finance Department vide No. FD.PC-40-12/2017(1284)19-2491 dated 28-01-2020 has issued a clarification that higher post related allowances are admissible to the offices/officials working on a regular basis. Time scale Promotion / Up-gradation is a type of extension of pay scale like moreover.  Therefore the allowances related to the higher post shall not be admissible to the time scale promotee except like House Rent Allowance and Conveyance Allowance.
