Finance Division has issued the Summary for Adhoc Relief Allowance and Upgradation of Clerical Staff on 11-02-2021. The Notification the Finance Division will issue very soon.
Summary for Adhoc Relief Allowance and Upgradation of Clerical Staff
In accordance with the agreement reached between the Special Committee constituted by the Prime Minister Imran Khan comprising Federal Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak, Federal Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmad and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan, and representatives of the Federal Government Employees, the Finance Division has agreed to the following, in principle:-
- Disparity Reduction Allowance @ 25% of the basic pay of BPS-2017 shall be allowed to those civil employees in BPS(1-19) of the Federal Government (Including employees of Federal Secretariat and attached departments) who have never been allowed additional salary equal to or more than 100% of the basic pay (Whether frozen or not) or performance allowance w.e.f. March 2021.
- The post (BPS-1 to BPS-16) or equivalent will be upgraded on the pattern of Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa w.e.f. 01 March 2021.
- The grant of time-scale will also be considered for adoption on the same pattern in the next budget.
- Adhoc relief will also be considered to be made part of the basic salary w.e.f. July 2021.
- The Provinces will be recommended for the adoption of the above from their own resources.
A summary to the effect is being placed before the Cabinet for requisite approval.

What about people who died during service???? Please must answer.

What about Data Entry Operators? will they upgraded to BPS-16 as in KPK?

IT’S GOOD SYMBOL IF THE POSTS MAY BE UPGRADED FROM BS-01 TO BS-16 IN ALL OVER THE PAKISTAN, THERE ARE SO MANY PERSONS IN DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS ARE WHO SERVING AND DEPARTMENTS SEEKING THE VIEWS OF GOVERNMENT OR FINANCE DIVISION OR DEPARTRMENT. AND MOST OF THE PEOPLE HAVE NO PURCHI OR SAFARISH, AND HAVING NO MORE SOURCE OF INCOME.

After the announcement of 25% increase to all Federal Govt employees by PTI Govt on 11-02-2021 and promise to up-grade all the cadres on the analogy of KPK Govt, it is the right time for APS to use their full force/unity to get their basic right of time scale promotion to BS-17, 18, 19 & even upwards as some of our fellow APS are in the same scale for last 02 x decades and on the other hands their fellow clerical who were about 15 years ago were in BS-15 and now touching BS-17. We as APS must know our real power as they work at least with a BS-20 and even with
BS-21 & 22 officers and they can easily grab this benefit if they even use their 50% influence. My humble request to Mr. Khalid on behalf of all APS cadre to kindly come forward and use his full force influence to get BS-17 and time scale promotion for APS. We must confess that it was all the struggle of APS but the main beneficiary emerge as P.S who are now enjoying the time scale promotion to BS-18 to BS-20, we have a very legitimate and clear example to fight our case on the same pattern and get the same time scale promotion/penetration for APS. Please keep in mind that this is not impossible and we can do this
