Government of the Punjab, School Education Department has issued a Notification on 27-04-2021 in connection with the Closing of All Private and Government Schools in Punjab. Before Punjab Government had announced the closing of schools in Punjab in 25 districts. But now the Government decided to close all the schools in the province.
Punjab Govt School Education Department issued this Notification in continuation of SED Punjab Notification dated 25th April 2021. According to the Notification all Private and all Public Educational Institutions / Schools in all the districts of the province of Punjab, the Government closed. These schools/ educational institutions will remain closed with effect from 29th April 2021 till Eid-ul-Fitr 2021. The Government decided so due to the prevailing situation of the COVID-19 in the country.
School Education Department Punjab has informed all the concerned departments/offices. There are chances that Eid-ul-Fitr 2021 Holidays will be till 16th of May 2021. Schools /Edu Institutions in the province of Punjab will remain closed till 16-05-2021. The holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr the Government of Punjab will announce very soon after the Notification of the Federal Government.
