Government of the Punjab Finance Department has issued an OM on 12-07-2021 in connection with Notification Increase in Pension 2021 Punjab Pensioners. The details of this notification are as under:
Notification Increase in Pension 2021 Punjab Pensioners
The main points of the enhancement of pension 2021 Punjab are as under:
- The Punjab Government enhanced pension @ 10% of Net Pension.
- Net Pension means here Total take-home pension minus a medical allowance.
- The employees who retire on 1st July or later will also get this increase in pension @ 10% of the net pension.
- This increase in pension Punjab is also for the family pension cases.
- The employees who would retire on or after 1st July 2021 will also get the following enhancement in pensions:
Previous Pension Increases
The new retired employee who retired on 01-07-2021 or later will also get the following raises in pension during the previous years.
- 15% increase vide Notification of the dated 11-07-2011
- 5% increase vide Notification of the dated 23-07-2015
- 10% increase vide Notification of the dated 18-07-2016
- A 10% increase vide Notification of the dated 14-07-2017
- 10% increase vide Notification of the dated 18-07-2018
- A 10% increase vide Notification of the dated 19-07-2019
