Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa and Punjab Govt has announced for Re-Opening of Schools/Colleges/Universities with Normal Fashion wef 11th Oct 2021. In this regard, Punjab Education Minister Dr. Murad Raas and Federal Minister Mr. Asad Umar have tweeted. While the Government of KPK Higher Education, Archives & Libraries Department has issued a Notification on 08-10-2021.
Re-Opening of Schools/Colleges/Universities with Normal Fashion
According to the KPK Government Notification, in pursuance of the National Command and Operation Cente (NCOC) decision dated 08-10-2021, while taking stock of disease situation in the country, corresponding education in critical case occupancy and need to accelerate students vaccination with effect from 11-10-2021 with normal fashion, under strict adherence of already notified SOPs for COVID.
This Department’s Notification of even number dated 15-09-2021 regarding re-opening with staggered approach (50% attendance, 3xdays a week) is hereby withdrawn.
Punjab Government Schools
Punjab Education Minister Dr. Murad Raas has also tweeted to end the staggered manner. He announced 100% students attendance daily and no more than 50% students daily. This routine will start from Monday 11th October 2021. For the information of students and teachers, School Education Department Punjab has issued the notification regarding revised school timings wef 16th Oct 2021. These timings will continue till 31st Mar 2022.
What About Federal and Others?
Federal Minister Mr. Asad Umar has also tweeted to start the classes in educational institutions with normal strength. He also announced that there will be no more than 50% students of students. The minister said that the situation of the coronavirus cases is now far better. And now it is the time to start the classes with full fledge.
Now it is a good time for the students to continue their studies a full week. This is really appreciable that the Government thought about the students’ studies well in time. This decision will really help the students to prepare well for the annual exams.
