Important Decisions Regarding Special Exams 2021

An emergent online meeting of the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairpersons was held on 15-10-2021 to discuss the conduct of Special Examinations 202I in the backdrop of examinations held under Promotion Policy 2021. The following important information/decisions made is notified:

Absent Students

 According to the notified Promotion Policy 200 I, those candidates of SSC and HSSC (Pan-II) Annual Examinations 2021 who were absent in the examinations or who do not accept the award of 33% passing marks in failed subject or subjects, may appear in the Special Examination 2021. Such candidates shall are to declare in writing their option to appear in the Special Examination 2021 within fifteen days of the declaration of results.

Students Whose Admission Forms, the Institutions did Not Submit

These students/candidates whose admission forms, the institutions did not forward. The reason for the same was the shortage of attendance. These students may submit their admission forms. Hence they can appear in the Special Examination 2021I as regular candidates.

It is a good chance for such students. They should avail this golden chance.

Students Who Want to Improve Their Marks

Candidates who want to improve their results according to the New Students Promotion Policy 2021 may appear in the Special Examination 2021. However, if the candidate wants to appear in any one or two subject(s), may appear for improvement. But the Boards will award the marks obtained only in the respective subject(s).

Having Last Chance

Candidates may appear in an additional subject (s) in the Special Examinations 2021. Candidates having the last chance up to Supplementary Examination 2021 may appear in the Special Exams 2021.

These are very important decisions made by the PBCC for the best interest of the students. Students keeping in view the above instructions should apply for the Special Examinations 2021.
