Punjab Ombudsman has issued its decision on 11-10-2021 in connection with Decision Regarding Appoint under Medical Category B Retirement. The summary of this decision is as under:

The Ombudsman Office Punjab instructs the Chief Executive Officer, District Education Authority to deal positively with the application of the applicant regarding appointment under Rule 17-A. In this regard, a completion report should submit to this office within 30 days.

Mohtsib Punjab has declared legal the appointment under rule 17 A category B Medical retirement. According to the Lahore High Court, Bahawalpur Bench Appointment under Rule-17-A  is the right of the concerned.
