Query:
The definition of “Dependent on parent” needs to be clarified. There are some cases in which a widowed daughter provided an affidavit. In this affidavit, she depends on her parents but there are her sons/daughters who are on reasonable jobs. Whether she will get a family pension or otherwise.
Clarification
In case the sons/daughters of a widowed daughter have a job, She cannot claim to depend on her parents. In this situation, the widowed daughter will not get the family pension.

In some cases, the family pension on the death of a Government Servant or his widow stopped. The reason was no other member was eligible to a pension. Now the question arises as to the entitlement of a widowed daughter for a grant of family pension beyond 10 years whether these cases are to be opened. And pension is to be granted to the widowed daughter with effect from the date of issue of the above letter.
Clarification
In case a daughter of a Government servant becomes a widow after the death of her father/mother. She will get Family Pension with effect from the date of death of her spouse.

There are some cases in which at the death of a pensioner no person was eligible for family pension. But after the lapse of one year, the husband of the daughter of the pensioner expired. It may also be clarified whether in such cases the widowed daughter will be granted a pension from the date of death of her husband.
Clarification
In case no one was eligible for family pension on the eve of the death of Government Servant. But after a lapse of one year, if the husband of the daughter of a Government servant expires. The widowed daughter gets a family pension.
