Government of Pakistan Cabinet Secretariat Cabinet Division has issued a Notification on 17-03-2022 in connection with Holiday on 21-03-2022 to 24-03-2022 in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The summary for the holidays in twin cities is as under:

Detail of Holidays in Twin Cities 21st Mar 2022 to 24th Mar 2022

 

                     The Prime Minister has been pleased to declare local holidays on Monday, the 21st March 2022 in the twin cities (Rawalpindi & Islamabad), and on Tuesday, the 22nd March 2022 in Rawalpindi an account of the 48th Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) and Pakistan Day Parade (22nd and 24th March 2022 have already been declared local holidays in Islamabad through a previous press release).

                          All Federal Ministries/Divisions, along with their Attached Departments, and other Organizations/Offices of the Federal Government located in the twin cities (Rawalpindi & Islamabad) shall also remain closed on Monday, the 21st March 2022 and Tuesday, the 22nd March 2022.

The above Press Release may kindly be published in all major English and Urdu Dailies both of National and Regional levels and also be given wide publicity through print and electric media.

The provincial Government employees will enjoy 4 days while federal Government employees working in Rawalpindi will enjoy 5 days’ holidays. In Islamabad, FG Employees will get 6 holidays starting from Saturday. Federal Govt employees have weekly holidays of Saturday and Sunday.
