As per the Aaj TV News Channel and others, the Prime Minister of Pakistan has decided for the Cancelation Saturday Holiday and the Change in Working Hours. This decision is for the Federal Government employees and Federal Government offices. As per the news, the following has been decided:
Notification Cancelation of Saturday Holiday 2022 and Change in Working Hours
- No more holidays on Saturday, only the employees will observe the Sunday holiday
- Office timings Holy month of Ramzan 2022 will start from 0800 HRS instead of 1000 HRS.
Now Cabinet Secretariat, Establishment Division has issued a Notification on 12-04-2022 regarding office working hours for 6 days a week.

Change in Office Timings
Federal Government previously announced that the Government offices will open at 10:00 am during the month of Ramzan. Now the new PM has decided to change the office timings. The closing timings were 4:00 pm but not yet updated for the closing timings. There are chances that it will be 3:00 pm. For its clarification, we’ll have to wait.
Saturday Holiday
Before this, the Federal Government enjoyed Saturday and Sundays Holidays. The PM has decided to cancel the Saturday holiday and the FG employees will observe only one weekly holiday on Sunday.
