Govt of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat has issued a Notification on 27-04-2022 in connection with Notification Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays 2022 Pakistan. According to this Notification, there will be Public Holidays with effect from 2^nd May 2022 to 5^th May 2022 (Monday to Thursday). The Islamia University Bahawalpur issued the Notification of holidays.

Notification Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays 2022 Pakistan

According to the summary, the Prime Minister has approved 4 days Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays in the country. The PM approved holidays from 2nd May 2022 to 5th May 2022 (Four Days). Thus the employees will get 5 holidays if they include Sunday too. Special Thanks to Mr. Manzar Abbas.

KP Eid Holidays 2022

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Govt notified 5 days holidays wef 02-05-2022 to 06-04-2022. The employees and workers of the province will get 6 holidays this year on Eid. They will enjoy holidays from Sunday to Friday).

Sighting of Moon Expected Date

The expected date of the sighting of the moon in Pakistan is 2^nd May 2022. There are many chances that the Moon Sighting Committee will announce the Eid-ul-Fitr day on the 2^nd May 2022 evening.  Thus the Eid-ul-Fitr 2022 may fall on 3^rd May 2022.

How Many Holidays the Employees Can Enjoy?

The Federal employees of Pakistan may enjoy up to 8 holidays overall if they get 2 leaves on Friday and Saturday.  It would be 9 holidays but Federal Government has already announced for cancellation of the Saturday Holiday a couple of weeks ago. It depends on the employee if he/she avails extra leaves or not.

Pension and Salaries of Employees before Eid

Keeping in view to add the happiness to the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr 2022, Federal Government, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Governments have announced for disbursement of Pay and Allowances in Advance for April 2022 for employees.  Thus the pensioners and employees will be able for shopping of eid a few days before.

Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays in KSA and Other Countries

The concerned offices in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and UAE have announced the eid-ul-Fitr holidays in KSA and UAE for schools and Federal and private employees. In many other countries of the world, the employees will have the same number of holidays of Eid-ul-Fitr 2022.

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays 2022

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has issued a Notification on 20-04-2022 in connection with Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays 2022 for teaching and non-teaching staff.
