Government of the Punjab, Services and General Administration Department (Section Welfare-I) issued a Notification on 28-04-2022 in connection with Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays 2022 Punjab. The details are as under:

Details of Eid Holidays
In pursuance of cabinet division, cabinet secretariat, Government of Pakistan’s Press Release dated 27.04.2022, it is notified for general information that 02nd to 05th May 2022 (Monday to Thursday), will be Public Holidays, in the Province of Punjab, on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr.
- the above press release should publish in all major English and Urdu dailies. These should publish at the National and Regional levels and they should give wide publicity through electronic media.
Federal Government announced and then notified 4 days Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays 2022 in Pakistan. Federal employees will get 5 holidays on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government announced five days of Eid Holidays in KPK. Thus the employees and workers of the KP province will get one more holiday on eid.

Overall Holidays, the Punjab employees will get 5 days from Sunday to Thursday. If they get Friday and Saturday leaves too, they will enjoy 8 holidays.
