Directorate of Inspection/Registration of Private Institutions Sindh School Education & Literacy Department has issued a circular on 16-05-2022 instructing the students and parents Don’t Purchase Uniform, School Bags, Books, Copies, and Stationary Items from Schools. The details are as under:

Instructions for Don’t Purchase Uniform and School Books, Stationary etc from Schools

In view of the complaints, we received from the parents and students, following instructions/ directives we issue this circular to all Principals/ Administrators of Privately managed schools for strict compliance with a warning that strict action they will take against defaulters.

• Do not compel the parents/ students to purchase uniform, school bags, books, copies/registrar, practical journals, and other stationay items from the school the lists of bags, books, copies/register, practical journals, uniforms, and other stationary items be issued to the students at the time of announcement of results/ time of admission.
• Collect only approved fees from the students. Past the approved fee schedule on the school’s notice board to let the parents and students be aware of the approved fee schedule of the school.

• Issue only monthly fee challan to the students or collect month-wise fees instead of quarterly/ bimonthly.

• Do not compel the parents to money for Mothe’s Day, Flowe’s Day, Colour Day, Mango Day, Music Day, etc.

If the parents have any complaints about the school fees or selling of books, stationary, uniform, etc. they may lodge their complaints in the complaint cell of this Directorate along-with photocopy of CNIC, so that action against the concerned school may be initiated.
