There is good news for the employees as newspapers have shared the Salary Increase in Budget 2022-23 News 10th June 2022. Before this many newspapers broke the news that there may be no increase in salary or IMP will approve the proposal to increase or not increase the salary and pension of the employees. However today, the Daily Express of the dated 10-6-2022 published that the Government will increase the salary and pension in the Budget 2022-23.
Latest Salary Increase in Budget 2022-23 News 10th June 2022
According to the Daily Express dated 10th June 2022, Government may increase salaries up to 10% to 15%. In addition to that there may be an increase in the following:
- Conveyance Allowance
- Medical Allowance
- Other Allowances
Federal cabinet Approved Revised Pay Scales 2022, 15% Pay Increase and 5% Pension – Express-News
As per Express-News at 3 pm on 10th June 2022, the Federal cabinet approved salary increase and pension as well as Revised pay Scales 2022. The following was approved, by the federal Cabinet:
- Merging of Adhoc Relief Allowances
- Revision of Basic Pay Scales
- Increase in Salary @ 15%
- Increase in Pension @ 5%
5% to 10% Salary and Pension Increase Daily Jang dated 10-06-2022
According to the Daily Jang dated 10th June 2022, there are chances for a 5% to 10% Increase in Pay and Pension in the Budget today. This is not a final and is just expected. The Federal Cabinet will decide all for the employees and pensioners at about 1600 HRS today.
Statement of Federal Minister and Pay and Pension Increase in Budget
As per other news in the same newspapers, Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal and Miftah Ismael said that there is good news for employees and pensioners. The government is going to increase salary and pension for the employees and pensioners respectively. It is good if the statement is true. But the employees want to increase their CA, House Rent Allowance, and Revised Pay Scales 2022. If this Government announces, then the employees will get much. Otherwise, 10% or 15% will not be enough for the employees.
Proposal for New Pay and Pension System
As per the Daily express dated 10-6-2022, Government will introduce the new revised restructuring of the pay and pension system. The Pay and Pension Commission has proposed for the survey to increase pay and pension. There is a proposal to merge all Adhoc Relief Allowances into basic pay. The proposal to increase HRA, Conveyance, Late Sitting Allowance, Military Allowance, and other allowances also included. There is a proposal to introduce to uniform pay and allowances system.
How Much Salary Will Increase in Budget 2022-23?
According to the Daily Dunya , IMF agreed to increase in pay and pension for the employees and pensioners. Before this the Minister of Finance stated that they will raise the salary if IMF agrees to do so. It is a good sign for the employees. But the question is that how much salary, the Government will increase for the employees. Its final decision, the Federal Cabinet will do just before the Announcement of Budget 2022-23. After the approval of the Federal Cabinet, the Finance Minister will present the Budget in National Assembly.
