Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued a clarification Notification on 11-06-2022 in connection with Payment of Allowances during Earned Leave / Study Leave /Iddat Leave / Maternity Leave.

According to the Notification, will the Section Officer (ND) Government of Punjab, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department kindly refer to his letter dated 17-11-2020 on the subject noted above?
The case has been examined. It is clarified that the following performance allowances which are paid to the civil servants during the performance of their duties are admissible to an official/officer for the first 90 days only during a continued period of earned leave (full pay/half pay), Study Leave of during the period he remained as an OSD (awaiting posting).

Who Will Get All These Allowances?
It is further clarified that the above allowances will be admissible for which period to an official/officer who proceeds on Special Leave (Iddat Leave), Maternity Leave.
There is also a confusion that during leave which allowance the Accounts Office deducts and which are not. AoA, I have two questions:
1. I availed study/leave for study during 2014 to 2018 (120 days on full pay and the rest on half pay). During the period of leave on half pay, I got half of the allowances including adhoc relief allowances. Can I claim for the payment in full of the all above allowances now?
2. Due to an audit objection that leave on half pay can not be combined with full pay, my department has converted my 120 days full pay study leave period into half pay and recovered the amount. Well! On this page it says that leave on half pay can be combined with full pay. Can u please provide me the notification for that?
