Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat has moved a summary for Eid-ul-Azha Holidays 2022 in Pakistan. After approval of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Establishment Division will issue a Notification of the Eid ul Azha Holidays. The Prime Minister of Pakistan has now approved the summary. As per the summary for the Prime Minister the following Public Holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha have been recommended: However, PM has approved 5 holidays for Eid-ul-Azha wef 08-07-2022 to2-07-2022.
Summary for Eid-ul-Azha Holidays 2022 in Pakistan

The Holy month of the Zil Hajj is starting with effect from 01-07-2022 and as per the Annual Calendar of Public and Optional Holidays 2022, Eid ul Azha holidays are from 10th to 12th July 2022.
Cabinet Division also proposes the Eid-ul-Azha 2022 holidays from Sunday to Tuesday (10-07-2022 to 12-07-2022). It depends on whether the Prime Minister of Pakistan approves these above three holidays or gives extra holidays.

Eid-ul-Azha Holidays 8th July to 12th July 2022 (Friday to Tuesday)
The Prime Minister of Pakistan has approved five holidays with effect from 8th July 2022 to 12th July 2022 as under:

Notification of Eid ul Azha Holidays 2022
Cabinet Secretariat Establishment Division issued a Notification on 04-07-2022 in connection with Edi-ul-Azha Holidays 2022.
.I am sharing the same here for the information of employees and workers. The employees especially those from other cities rather than their place of posting will plan the holidays according to the Notification.

This time, as Eid-ul-Azha is falling on Sunday, therefore only two holidays Government will grant to the employees as per the summary. Sunday is already a holiday. During the previous Eid-ul-Fitr employees got extra leaves to enjoy full week holidays. However this time, the employees will have to take three holidays to enjoy a full week’s holidays.

Pakistan Railways (PR) has also announced Eid ul Azha Holidays wef 08-07-2022 to 12-07-2022.
