Government of Pakistan, Finance Division issued an OM on 19-07-2022 in connection with Notification DRA-2022 @ 15% of Running Basic Pay to BPS-20 to 22 Employees. The employees will get this allowance with effect from m1st July 2022.

Terms and Conditions of DRA-2022
The undersigned is directed to convey the approval of the Federal Government to extend the Disparity Reduction Allowance 2022 @ 15% of the Basic pay to civil employees of the Federal Government, in BPS 20-22, w.e.f. 1st July 2022, on the same terms and conditions provided under Finance Division’s O.M. No.F.No. 14(1)R-3/2021-69, dated 23.02.2022.
- This allowance shall not be admissible to those officers of the federal Government in BS 20-22 who have been granted executive Allowance 2022, vide Finance Division’s O.M.No.F.No.10(02)R-3/2018-297, dated 19th July 2022.
- Finance Division’s O.M.F.No.14(1)R-3/2021-69, dated 23-02-2022 stands amended to the above extent.

The employees of BPS-01 to BPS-19 of the Federal Government are already enjoying this DRA-2022. The employees of BPS-20 to BPS-22 were deprived of it. However, now they will also get this allowance but with effect from 1st July 2022 instead of 1st March 2022.
