National Highway Authority issued a circular on 19-07-2022 in connection with Notification Increase in Medical Allowance, Utility Allowance, and NHA Allowance 2022. The details are as under:
Increase in Medical Allowance, Utility Allowance and NHA Allowance 2022
The Nation Highway Council in its 37th meeting held on 30th June 2022 has approved NHA Allowance, Utility Allowance/Reward “Special Compensation” and medical allowance for all NHA employees w.e.f. 1st July 2022 at following rates vide confirmed minutes letter No.331 dated 19th July 2022.
Revised Rates of NHA Allowance 2022
Payment of NHA Allowance per month as per the followings:-

| 5 | BPS-11 to BPS-13 | Rs.20,000 |
| 6 | BPS-1 to BPS-10 | Rs.10,000 |
- Payment of “Utility Allowance @ 30% of running basic pay” for all employees.
- Payment of “Special Compensation” (Reward) equivalent to one month running basic pay on Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha for all employees of NHA.
- Enhancement of existing medical allowance by 100% to NHA Employees.
The employees of the National Highway Authority will get the Utility Allowance increase 2022 @ 30% of their current basic pay. They did not get already the Reward Allowance on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Azha 2022. Now they will also get this allowance. In the same way their Medical Allowance (MA), the Authorities have doubled.
