Government of the Punjab Finance Department issued a Notification on 22-07-2022 in connection with the Clarification of Status of Various Allowances after Pay Scales Revision 2022. FD issued the Notification on the admissibility of allowances to different offices on the Revised Basic Pay Scales 2022 Punjab. The details are as under:

Clarification of Status of Various Allowances after Pay Scales Revision 2022

I am directed to refer to your letter No.TM-I/2-3A(iv)/2019-23/2943 dated 22.07.2022 on the subject noted above.

                        The case has been examined and it is hereby clarified that para-9 of the Finance Department’s letter No. FD.SR-V.2-3(1)/2022 dated 21.07.2022 is very much clear about the admissibility of allowances in question and the same is hereby reproduced as under:

“All existing rules/orders on the subject shall be considered to have been modified to the extent indicated above. All the existing rules/orders not so modified shall continue to be in force under this scheme”

In view of the above3, the status of the allowances at para-2 of the above-referred letter is as under:
