Government of Balochistan, Finance Department issued a Notification on 18-08-2022 in connection with Revised Pay Scales 2022 Balochistan. The government of Balochistan has also revised the pay scales for the employees. These new pay scales of Balochistan are effective with effect from 1^st July 2022.

Revised Pay Scales 2022 Balochistan

The Government of Balochistan is pleased to sanction the revision of basic Pay Scales & Allowance for the Provincial Government employees (BPS-1) to (BPS-22) w.e.f 1^st July 2022, as detailed in the following paragraphs-

Upon introduction of Basic Pay Scales-2022 the following Ad-hoc Relief Allowances granted w.e.f 01.07.2016, 01.07.2017, 01.07.2018, 01.07.2019, and 01.07.2022:

Special Pays and Allowances

All the special pay, special allowances as 100% of the basic pay or more (excluding those which are capped by fixing maximum limit) including House rent allowance shall stand frozen at the level of its admissibility as on 30-06-2022.

Disparity reduction Allowance

• The revised basic pay scale-2022 shall have no impact on the admissibly of Disparity Reduction Allowance-2022 & 2021 to the existing Human Resource/ Civil Servants such that they shall continue to be drawn on the initial basic pay of pay scales-2017 and shall stand frozen at the level of admissibility as on 30-06-2022 under same terms and conditions as stated vide this Department’s circular No. FD(R-I)V-I/2021 / 1609-1730 dated 9^th July 2021 & No. FD(R-I)V-I/2022/299-419 dated 12^th May 2022.
• The new entrants of the Government of Balochistan will be entitled to DRA-2021 and 2022 accordingly to the respective rate of the scheme under already approved terms and conditions.
