Allama Iqbal Open University has recently started e-Registration for Part Time Tutors / Resource Persons and the basic requirement to apply for the tutors is Post Qualification Experience. Many of the candidates are unaware of this term and simply think of it as a general teaching experience. The facts are as under:

What is Post Qualification Experience?

                     To apply for Tutorship in AIOU, candidates must have post-qualification experience. One must understand the word Post Qualification before applying.

I’ll explain it with an example

                     If any person applies when experience is needed for 3 years and he has passed his Master’s degree on 10^th October 2019 and then he is doing the job from 10^th of October 2019. So, if he adds the degree of 2019 he should add the experience of 2019 -2022.

If he adds the degree of 2019, but he adds the experience of years before 2019, his experience will not be counted. He will be rejected.

Experience After Degree Only

                   Only the experience after the Master’s degree will be counted. So, one must have the PQE to apply for the Tutorship ship program at Allama Iqbal Open University.

Note: Ph.D. and M.Phil degree holders do not require any experience.
