Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Islamabad issued a Notification regarding Two Examinations in a Year by FBISE Islamabad. The details are as under:
Two Examinations in A Year by FBISE
Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education issues notifications about supplementary examinations. The concept of supplementary Examination in FBISE shall be implemented for SSC & HSSC levels.
Concept of Two Examinations
The concept of two Examinations on SSC and HSSC levels has been implemented already. This facility is being provided by FBISE for the convenience of students.
1St And 2nd Annual Examinations
The Federal Board of Intermediate and Examination has already introduced the concept of two Examinations (1st Annual and 2nd Examination) at the SSC and HSSC levels. The concept of two Examinations has been implemented in 2021 at both levels. The concept of two Examinations allows the students to appear in the first or second Annual Examination together with the facility of staggering their subjects too as per their convenience.
Policy guidelines
The policy guidelines were issued for appearance in the 2nd Annual Examination at (SSC & HSSC) level. These guidelines are once again reproduced. These guidelines are here as under:-
Fully or Partially Failed Candidates:-
The candidates who fully or partially remain absent in the first Annual Examination or who stagger/change their subjects can appear in the second Annual Examinations.
Improvement of Marks:-
The already passed candidates are eligible to appear for Improvement or in additional subjects (Improvement of marks) in the Second Annual Examinations.
Withdrawn First Annual Examination
The candidates who have withdrawn their names from the first annual Examination, before issuance of their roll number slip are exempted from payment of a requisite fee for the second Annual Examination. However, such candidates will have to submit their admission forms to FBISE as per previous practice.
Result Card:-
All the. Candidates shall be issued result cards showing passed in the “Annual Examination” as the word “Supplementary” has been abandoned.
Fresh Candidates
Fresh candidates are eligible to appear in either of the two Examinations.
