Schools in Punjab reopen on 9^th January 2023 after Winter vacations.  Although winter Vacations come to an end and activities resume but the weather is still very cold. The temperature is still low. It creates difficulties for students.  Due to cold and foggy weather, students find it difficult to reach in time at schools. To avoid the harmful effects of this cold weather, students have to wear warm dresses. The warm dresses seem unusual with regard to schools. In this concern, Special Education Department makes the following Decisions:-

Revised School Timings in Punjab SED

The Special Education Department Punjab issues a new schedule for the schools. The new schedule is issued due to the harsh and cold weather. This Revised school timing schedule is for January and February of 2023.

Revised Schedule for Schools by Special Education Department

The school Education Department issues schedules for schools for all working days of weak. The Schedule for Schools in Punjab by Special Education Department (SED) is as here:-

The new schedule for opening and closing schools has been mentioned above. This new schedule will be implemented in the months of January and February.

Relaxation in Uniform

Special Education Department Punjab gives relaxation to students in regard to uniforms. The students of all private and public institutions shall be given relaxation in regard to wearing proper uniforms. This decision is being taken only on the account of cold weather. The relaxation will be provided for January and February only. The students may wear any uniform and coats dress etc. The department allows the students to wear any sweater,  blazer, coat, jacket, cap, socks, shoes, etc during this period.  This shall help students to wear kind of warm clothes to avoid cold weather. In this way, their studies shall not be affected.
