Government of Sindh, Services, General Administration and Coordination Department issued a Notification on 23-01-2023 in connection with the Fifteen Years Age Relaxation in Upper Age Limit for the candidates applying for Sindh vacancies.  The details are as under:

SGA & CD mentions in its Notification that in continuation of this Department’s Notification of an even number dated 27^th July 2020. It states that  with the approval of Chief Minister Sindh, notwithstanding the contents of the table given under Rule-12 (2) of Sindh Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion, and Transfer) Rules, 1974 and the orders contained in this Departments Notifications mentioned below:

The Government of Sindh do please allow relaxation up to a maximum of 15 Years (Fifteen Years) in the upper age limit. That said relaxation is to all the applicants applying for the posts/vacancies in all the departments of the Government of Sindh. These are excluded from Police Service & the posts are to be filled through Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) by the Sindh Public Service Commission.  This relaxation is for these vacancies which the Sindh Government will fill during the period from 01-07-2022 to 30-06-2024 in relaxation of rules.

That is a good decision of the Government of Sindh, in this way many employees who got overage, will have the right to apply for Government jobs in Sindh Province. Other provinces and Federal Govt should also grant such type of age relaxation for the Govt vacancies. Various Governments have already announced age relaxation for female candidates. In this regard age relaxation rules including 3 years for females, various governments issued.
