The Election Commission of Pakistan issued a Notification on 03-02-2023 in connection with the Lifting of the Ban on Transfer Posting Teaching Staff in Punjab 2023. This special concession is to release e-transfer orders of teachers on their promotion on awaiting posting and hardship grounds already under process and commenced with effect from 23rd Dec 2022 to 26th Jan 2023. I direct to refer to your office letter No.SO(SE-I)Misc-2023 dated 23.01.2023 on the subject cited above. I say that your request regarding promotion/e-transfer of 3599 promoted teachers to actualize their promotions and 2393 teachers awaiting posting on a hardship basis (widows, divorce, medical ground, wedlock), the Competent Authority access with the directions that proper merit and objective criteria they should keep in view.
