The Government of Sindh, School Education & Literacy Department issued a Notification on 01-02-2023 in connection with Revised Recruitment Rules Various Posts Education Department, Finance, Accounts, and Audit Cadre Sindh. The details are as under:

  • Director Finance BPS-19
  • Deputy Director Finance / Audit BPS-18
  • Assistant Director Finance/Audit
  • Accounts Officer BPS-17
  • Accountant BPS-16
  • Accounts Clerk BPS-11
  • Cashier BPS-11

In pursuance of sub-rule (2) of Rule 3 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion, and Transfer) Rules, 1974, In partial modification of Department’s Notification No. SO (B&F) E&L/DESL-POSTS/2014(District/2014) dated 14.10.2014, and in consultation with the Regulation Wing of Services, General  Administration and Coordination Department,  Govt. Of Sindh, the method, qualification, experience and other conditions for appointment, experience, and other conditions for appointment in respect  of various posts in Finance, Account, and Adult cadre in the Directorates of  (ES&HS/Primary) School Education, and Literacy Department,  Government of Sindh, Mentioned in Column column-2 of the table below, shall be laid down in Column-3, 4 and 5 thereof

04 Account Officer BPS-17 Eighty percent by initial appointment through Sindh public service announcement (SPSC) and twenty percent by promotion from amongst the accountants (BPS-16) having at least five years of service as such on seniority-cum-fitness basis MBBA /ACCA/CA/M.com BS. Hons (finance) or (Economics) or (Accounting) and having at least second division  from a university recognized by the higher education commission 21-30 years

Accountant BPS-16 Forty percent by initial appointment through Sindh public service commission SPSC

thirty percent from promotion amongst the cashier (BPS-11), having at least five years of service as such on seniority-cum-fitness basis and

Thirty percent by promotion from amongst the accounts clerk (BPS-11) having at least five years of service as such on seniority-cum-fitness basis

B.com/BBA/BS.Hons (finance) or (Economics) or (Accounting), having at least in second division from a university recognized by the higher education commission 21-28 years
