Law Admission Test (LAT) for Admission in LLB Degree through HEC
HEC is conducting law admission test for applicate desirous to get admission in five years undergraduate LLB degree program in HEC/PBC recognized public and private sector universities/institutions and valid colleges affiliated with the public sector universities in compliance with directions of the honorable supreme Court vide its order and judgment dated August 31, 2018, passed in C.P.134/2012:

Who can apply for the law admission test?
- Students who have passed the higher secondary certificate (HSSC) or equivalent/Grade 12 Education.
- Students who have appeared in the final examination of HSSC or equivalent / Grade 12 Education and awaiting results.
Date of Examination
- LAT will be held on April 9th,2023. Any change in test date, due to unavoidable circumstances, shall be communicated to candidates through the websites hec.gov.pn and http://etc.hec.gov.pk
- Applicants who register through the HEC registration process will be able to download their Roll Number Slip from https://etc.hec.gov.pk and registered Email address a week before the test date
- A print of the roll number slip, originally paid fee challan, and original CNIC will be required to enter the test center on the test day.
- Emails/SMS will also be sent to the registered applicants for the test date, time, and venue. While filling out the online application forms, candidates are required to provide a valid email or mobile numbers on which they wish to receive the Roll Number Slips.
Details of examination centers:
The test will be conducted in major cities. Applications may select any test examination center from the list available in the application form. please note the examination center will not be changed after registration.
How to Register for LLB Admission Test
- Please visit the following link http://etc.hec.gov.pk for online registration.
- Application submission comprises two steps
Profile Completion using the “My Profile” section
Application submission using the” Law admission test” link on the menu panel in the left sidebar of the online portal.
- The test fee of RS.1800/- is to deposit in Account No.17242 7900 133401 Account title Higher education commission, Habib Bank Limited, Branch code 1742.
- All candidates are required to upload the laid and scanned fee challan, duly stamped by an HBL, branch while completing the application.
- The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- The candidates must get their queries or complaints resolved before the closure of the web registration Portal. Queries or complaints handled beyond the registration deadline are denied by the system due to logistics/security reasons.
- Only Submitted applications will be considered for the LAT and applications in the save or incomplete mode will not be entertained.
Deadline for online registration
The last date for online registration is March 27, 2023.
