Notification Eid-ul-Azha Holidays 2023 Federal Government

Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat Cabinet Division issued a Notification on 20-06-2023 in connection with Eid-ul-Azha Holidays 2023 Federal Government employees. The Eid ul Azha holidays will start from 29th June 2023.

 

Eid-ul-Azha Holidays 2023 Federal Government Employees

Government of Pakistan cabinet secretariat and cabinet division issues notifications regarding public holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. The Prime Minister of Pakistan approves 2-3 public holidays in order to celebrate the religious festival Eid-ul-Azha on 29th and 30th June 2023.

 For the complete celebrations of the religious festival of Muslims, the idol Azar on 29th and 30th June 2023 government of Pakistan approves 2 days of public holidays for the offices observing 5 days of working in a week. The government also announces three days of public holidays for the offices Observing 6 days of working in a week. These Eid Holidays are also included in the list of public and optional holidays 2023 that the Federal Govt issued on 23-12-2022.

The whole nation Is making preparations to celebrate this event in the best way to fulfill the tuna of Hazrat Ibrahim A.S.

All public and private organizations will stop official activities and remain closed during these holidays. The government of Pakistan will take strict action against all the institutions that will not follow the instructions and remain open during these holidays.

 

Revised Notification of Holidays wef 28 June 2023

federal Government has issued the Revised Notification Eid-ul-Azha Holidays 2023 wef 28th June 2023 instead of 29th June 2023. Thus the employees will have now one more holiday on 28 June 2023. You can say that the employees now will have holidays a day before Eid day.

 

 

 

Two Days Public Holidays for Offices Observing 5 Working Days a Week

 

The moon of Islamic Month Zilhajj has seen on the evening of 19th  June 2023. for the start of this holy month government of Pakistan announces 2 days of public holidays for the offices observing 5 working days a week.

During these public holidays, all the offices remain closed and there will be no activity due to the celebration of Eid-ul-Azha.

03- Days Public Holidays for the Offices Observing 6 Working Days in a Week

 

The government of Punjab also announces 3 days of public holidays for the offices observing 6 working days in a week. All the employees of public and private organizations and institutions remain closed During these holidays. No office will open to perform any type of activity.

The Principal Information Officer Press Information Department Islamabad forwarded the Copy of the issued letter to all the competent authorities. Upon receiving this letter all the completed authorities make ensure that there will be no official duty during these public holidays in order to celebrate the Eid-ul-Azha in the best way.

The above-Issued letter is for the original and national levels where the prime minister is pleased to approve the public holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

  1. The government employees will attend office on Wednesday and will not sacrifice animal on Eid ul Azha (on Thursday).
    Who has forwarded this idiotic proposal to the PM?
    Strange that PM has approved it without using his common sense!!!
