Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Services & General Administration Department issued a Notification on 20-07-2023 in connection with the Amendment in Service Rules 2023 of Stenographers AJK. The Section Officer S&GAD Regulation Wing, Government of the state of Jammu and Kashmir Services, and General Administration Department issues specific notification on 20th July 2023. The notification is about the new amendment in Service Rules for the post of Stenographer BPS-14.
Amendment in Service Rules 2023 of Stenographers AJK
According to the new notification, the AJ&K government issues new Service Rules and conditions for the recruitment of candidates for the post of Stenographer. Here are the new requirements:
Minimum Academic Qualification
- For this post, the minimum qualification is Graduation (not less than it). As previously most of public departments recruit professional stenographers on an intermediate basis. In order to improve the performances of public departments now the minimum qualification for the post of stenographer is Graduation.
Minimum Professional Qualification
Mostly the Stenographer works on computers in order to record data. They use Microsoft Word/ Excel and PowerPoint also. So now only professional candidates having expertise and complete command of Microsoft Office Can apply.
- The candidate must have 06- months diploma in Microsoft Office. And good knowledge of Microsoft Word /Excel /PowerPoint etc.
- Candidate must have a Typing Speed of 40 words per minute in English and Urdu typing.
All government departments will follow the new service rules for the post of stenographers. These conditions are a must to follow in the recruitment of new candidates for this post.
Finance Division Govt of Pakistan has also issued the Notification of Resolution Rates of Profit 2022-23 on Balances like GP Fund and CP Fund as well as similar balances.
Enhancing the Minimum Qualification for Stenographers
In the pursuance meeting on 10th February 2023. After discussion, the cabinet makes a final decision about implementing new conditions for the post of stenographer. in order to recruit new candidates for this post in all government departments recruitment committee will follow these Service Rules. The section officer forwards this notification to all competent authorities in order to ensure the implementation of the new Rules.
According to previous rules the government departments recruit professional candidates for this post having intermediate as a minimum qualification.
But according to the new policy now all public departments must write the Graduation as prescribed qualification for this post.
