CEO District Education Authority Sahiwal issued a Notification on 14-10-2023 in connection with Revised School Timing for Winter Season Sahiwal District 2023. The details are as under:

CEO/DEA District Sahiwal issues a new school timetable for the winter season.  All the schools will follow the new schedule of instructional activities in all public schools. According to the new notification or timetable or schedule, there are 06- working hours per day in every school. There is a separate schedule for single-shift boys or girls’ schools and double-shift schools.

an additional 45 minutes of recess or prayer break timing is added. during the prayer break or recess time, the students and teachers will perform the Zohar Prayer. In order to perform the Jummah prayer on the day of Friday there is no break time added in the timetable.

All the girl’s and boy’s schools will follow the new winter season timetable

Chief Executive Officer District Education Authority Sahiwal issues the latest winter season schedule of all public schools on 14th October 2023.

On the basis of the new schedule, the new school timings will be observed during the winter seasons in all public as well as private schools. The public and private schools’ management must implement the new timings for educational activities.

New Timings Effective Date

The new timing will be observed with effects from 16th October 2023 till 14th April 2024 as follows

1. All the Single Shift Boys’ Schools will open at 8:30 AM and close at 2:30 PM. The recess or Prayer Break Time is from 12:45 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
2. In all Single Shift Girls Schools, the new timing for Monday to Thursday and Saturday is 08:15 AM to 2:15 PM.
3. In all Double Shift Girls and Boy’s Schools, the Single Shift will start at 8:00 AM and close at 12:30 PM without a break. The 2nd Shift will start at 12:45 PM and close at 5:15 PM without a break.
4. For the Friday in the double shift schools, the first shift will start at 8:00 AM and close at 12:30 PM without break. On Friday the 2^nd shift will start at 1:45 PM and close at 5:45 PM without break.

Note:

It is mandatory for all head teachers/Principals and management of schools to follow this schedule.

DEO Lahore has already issued the Notification Revised School Timings 2023 in Lahore District which is also effective from 16th October 2023.
