District Legal Empowerment Committee (DLEC) Free Legal Support to Get Justice in Pakistan
District Legal Empowerment Committee (DLEC) will provide legal assistance to the public on the District level. Each person who cannot follow legal cases due to lake of resources is eligible for assistance from DLEC free of cost. Hence, he can access the justice.
Members of the District Legal Empowerment Committee
The Committee consists of the following members:
- District & Session Court (Chairmen)
- Deputy Jail Superintendent
- President District Bar
- Representatives of Civil Society
Facilities By District Legal Empowerment Committee (DLEC)
District Legal Empowerment Committee (DLEC) will provide free assistance to those who cannot afford the expenses of legal cases. Eligible persons can get the following facilities free of cost:-
- Fee of Lawyer
- Expenses of Copies
- Court fee
- Summon Expenses
- Other expenses according to the type of case
Procedure
Here is the procedure to get legal assistance from DLEC:-
- The candidates have to send the details of the case on blank paper along with the person’s name, father’s name, Phone number, CNIC number, and address to the District and Session Judge.
- Convicted and prisoners with pending cases can submit applications through Superintendent Jail. Committee.
- The Committee will consider the applications and provide assistance to eligible candidates after review.
- The candidates can contact the District & Session Judge (Chairmen), and District Committee for more details.
