Notification of clarification Admissibility Advance Increments BEd to PTC and SV Teachers Prior to 01-12-2001 has been issued by the Inspectorate of Treasurers & Accounts Government of the Punjab, Finance Department. The details are as under:

I direct you to refer to the subject cited above and to enclose herewith a copy of a letter. That letter I received from the district accounts officer, Faisalabad vides NO.DAO/FSD/Pay Roll-2/HM/687 dated)$.01.2024. Wherein he has requested for seeking clarification regarding the admissibility of an advance increment of B.Ed. to pct. and SV before 01.12.2001.

Facts in the case

• That is the context of the finance department vide its notification no. FD-SR-v-21 36/2017 dated 19.1.2022 (annex-). It states that an order for advance increments of B.Ed. (annex-B) they received from the district education officer (M-EE) Faisalabad in respect of Mr. Amjad Ali appointed at PTC on 31.05,1993. He is working now as EST in govt high school 97-RB, Faisalabad.

• Another order for B. ED advance increments in respect of Mr. Muhammad Tariq’s appointment as SV on 10.11.1999 currently working as EST in govt high school Islamic madrassa, Faisalabad (Annex-c). Both the period of PST and SV.

Request for guidance/clarification

Foregoing in view I request you clarify the matter of whether the PTC and SV teachers have the right to acquire the B.Ed. advance increments or otherwise.

This notification consists of a request to clarify the situation of the right of Advanced increments of B.Ed for Primary school teachers and SV. These teachers got their appointment before 2001.
