Pakistan Railways BPS-06 to BPS-12 Vacancies in PR 2024
Applications are invited by Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Officer Lahore for appointment/engagement of retired supervisory staff of Mechanical Loco Department on contact basis for a period of one year of suitable candidates having retired on superannuation i.e. 60 years as posts mentioned ageist each subject to physical fitness.

Before this Pakistan Railways HQ Jobs 2024 were also announced by PR. There were 07 vacancies in Pakistan Railways Headquarters. Now in this new announcement, there are a total of 25 vacancies.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit shall be 62 years
Terms and Conditions for Contact Appointment
- Only those candidates who have worked in the above category will be eligible for a contract appointment
- The period of contact one year should be extendable further for one year if required appointment without assigning any reason.
- The competent authority has the right to reject any application for contract appointment without assigning any reason.
- A number of posts can be changed without assigning any reason.
- Selected candidates will required to pass medical fitness exa, nation from Pakistan Railways Hospital only
- Those who retired, compulsorily removed, dismissed, or retired on medical Grounds will not be eligible for an appointment.
- Call letters will only be issued to the candidates eligible for contact appointments.
- NO TA/DA will be paid to candidates called for an interview and medical examination.
- The selected persons will be posted anywhere in the entire railway system.
