12% Increase in Salary News in Budget 2024-2025

               The story says that there is an expectation of a 10% to 12% increase in salaries in Budget 2024-25 for the Government employees of Pakistan. The retired employees of BPS-01 to BPS-15 including EOBI have a chance to get a raise of 15% increase in pension. However, the employees of BPS-16 and above have a chance to have reduced privileges. However, these are just news and we cannot believe such news until the Government finally decides so. The government has decided to finalize the budget targets before the arrival of the International Monetary Fund delegation to Pakistan.

               Before the announcement of the Budget 2024-25, we will read and hear many news of pay and allowances increase in the coming budget 2024-2025. You know all is well that ends well, so we’ll have to wait for the end i.e. the day of the announcement of the budget.

The increase of 10% or 12% is so on if so then it is not a piece of good news for the employees. The employees are demanding a 100% increase in salaries. There are hikes in the prices of daily-use items. The rents of houses have increased many times. Medical expenses are also nowadays many fold. The request of the Government Employees

               All employees request the Government to increase the salaries ranging from 50% to 100% which will somewhat support their financial issues. The government should also consider raising the House Rent Allowance, Conveyance Allowance, and Medical Allowance for Government employees. The government enhanced the House Rent Allowance (HRA) in 2017 while the medical allowance was actually increased in 2014.
