The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has sought recommendations for an Increase in Salaries (Pay, Medical, CA, and HRA) for KP employees in 2024. The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will announce the fiscal budget 2024-25 on 15th June 2024. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government plans to enhance the salaries of employees, House Rent Allowance, Conveyance Allowance, and Medical Allowance.
Updates of Increase in Salaries (Pay, Medical, CA and HRA) KP 2024
As per the Daily Mashriq newspaper Peshawar dated 10-05-2024, the KP Government has asked the Finance Department to give proposals to increase the following for the Government employees of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the annual Budget 2024-2025:
- Salaries of the Employees
- House Rent Allowance (HRA)
- Conveyance Allowance (CA)
- Medical Allowance (MA)
BPS-01 to BPS-16 Employees’ Salaries
The KPK Government may increase the salaries at more for the employees of BPS-01 to BPS-16 as compared to BPS-17 and above employees. This category of employees is the most effective of the dearness prevailing in the country. These employees do have not many salaries. So the Government has a plan to increase salaries for BPS-01 to BPS-16 employees. The employees of BPS-17 and above will also get a raise in pay but their percentage of increase will be less as compared to BPS-16 and below employees.
Date of Announcement of Budget 2024-25
The KP Government will announce the annual budget 2024-2025 on 15-06-2024. This year the KP Government can increase much salaries of their employees. There are chances that the Finance Minister KP will announce a 10% to 15% increase in salary for KP employees. But the final decision the Government of KPK will make on the day of the announcement of the budget 2024-25.
Top Most Demands of KP Employees
The employees of KP want a reasonable increase in salaries in Budget 2024-25 for them, They have the following top depends:
- Upgradation of the pay scales of teachers
- HRA
- Conveyance Allowance (CA)
- MA
- Minimum 50% increase in their salaries
The House Rent Allowance they are getting is not sufficient as compared to the rates of the house they have hired for living. The Petrol Price has been increased many times, and the Conveyance Allowance they want should be increased a minimum three times of the current one. They have to pay higher medical charges for their medical check-up. The employees also demand that they should have a minimum of 5000/- per month as Medical Allowance.
