Contents of the Orders
Reference meeting of Cabinet Committee for all infectious diseases including Dengue and Disaster Management held under the chairmanship of Minister, SHC&ME Department & P&SH Department, Punjab on 13th May 2024 wherein it has been directed that the department take special focus on raising awareness about Dengue & Smog among the students in both public and private schools.
It has also been emphasized by the authority that the “ZERO PERIOD” on Dengue and Smog awareness in all public/private schools shall be ensured on a daily basis, along with the following measures:
Display of dengue/Smog related banners, posters & charts
100% Converge of all dengue Hotspots
Cleanliness (premises, toilets, water tanks, rooftops, etc.)
I am, therefore, directed to request that necessary directions be disseminated to anti-Dengue focal persons and all heads of schools (public/private) for compliance with directions in true letter and spirit.
This may be treated as a top Priority
