Government of the Punjab School Education Department issued a Notification on 17-05-2024 in connection with the Promotion of Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff in Punjab 2024. All these teachers and NTS will get the promotion against the posts reserved for promotion. The details are as follows:
Promotion of Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff in Punjab 2024
As per the letter, I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to state that as per the report of the Directorate of Public Instruction (SE) Punjab 14851 vacancies (as of 06-05-2024) up to BS-16 teachers & non-teaching employees vacancies) need to be filled through promotion/District-wise details of the vacancies in enclosed herewith.
- Therefore, I am further directed to request to convene a meeting of DPCs as per rules/policy at the earliest.

There are recent main Notifications, that the School Education Department Punjab issued on 17-05-2024. These are for summer vacation 2024 in Punjab and Revised School Timings Punjab School May 2024 for Government and Private Schools.
I hope Punjab Government SED will soon complete the process of promotion of employees. The employees will have more enthusiasm after they get a promotion. They will do their assigned duties with more zeal and zest. This process is a piece of good news for the teaching staff and non-teaching staff of the School Education Department Punjab. It seems that the department soon hold a meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee. Let’s Hope for the best.
