Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a Notification on 17-05-2024 in connection with Revised School Timings May 2024 Punjab Schools. These new school timings are for all private and Government schools. The new school timings are effective from 18^th May 2024. The details are as follows:

Revised School Timings May 2024 Punjab Schools

As per the Notification, the school opening time is 07:00 am daily. The school will close at 11;30 from Monday to Thursday and on Friday at 10:30 am.

No.SO(A-I)1-31/2022 in the wake of severe weather, it is hereby notified that the following School timing shall be observed in all Public and Private Schools in the Province of Punjab with effect from 18^th May to 31^st May 2024.

2. Following precautionary measures shall also be taken by heads of schools:
3. All fans should be in working condition schools.
4. Availability of water coolers shall be ensured.
5. No Student to sit in open space/lawn of the school during summer time.
6. The Chief Executive Officer (DEA), the Head of the institution is directed to ensure compliance with the above in true letter & spirit.

There is also another important NOtification for Government employees regarding Absence from Duty without Sanctioning LPR or any other kind of leave. This Notification is very useful for the employees.

5. All head/principals of attached organizations / Schools of SED
6. All Chairmen of BISEs in the Punjab.
7. Director General Public Relations, Punjab, Lahore with the request to release this Notification to the press / TV & Radio
8. All Additional Secretaries to the School Education Department.
9. All directors (Monitoring), of the School Education Department request to upload the notification on the official website of the department.
