SED Updates of Opening Transfer / Posting 2024

I am sharing the SED Updates of Opening Transfer / Posting 2024 in Government schools of the Punjab Government. As per the comment of the Education Minister Punjab Rana Sikandar Hayat the Government of the Punjab is opening the transfer posting of general cadre within 10 days. The details are as follows:

As per the recent updates of the transfer/posting of teachers in Punjab, I have received the news that the Punjab G0vt School Education Department is opening/starting the process of transfer/posting in Punjab Government schools in 10 days.Punjab Govt SED can open transfer posting till 28 May 2024.

There was a question in a comment on the official page of Rana Sikandar Iqbal about the opening of the transfer process in the Punjab province schools. In reply to that comment, Rana Sikandar Hayat Education Minister in Punjab replied that they would start the process in ten days.

It is a good piece of news for the teaching staff. They have been waiting for their transfer posting for long. Most of them have got their appointment far away from their houses. They have to face difficulties to reach their schools and back home. Especially the female teachers suffering a lot. On the other hand, they have to pay many conveyance expenses for the vehicles they own or hire. They also have to pay high fares for public transport. A few employees must have applied on medical grounds. They may have to move to a specific place for their medical treatment. I hope such employees will get their transfer/posting orders soon. There is also summer vacation 2024 in Punjab Schools on 1st June 2024 so they may not suffer much until the summer vacation 2024 ends.

This action of the Punjab Government will facilitate the employees. They will be much happier after their transfer to their hometown/place or of their choice.

The School Education Department Punjab also issued a Notification of Lifting Ban on Transfer Posting SED a few days ago for awaiting posting.
