Clarification Weather Allowance to Govt Employees of KPK
I am directed to refer to your letter bearing No. 19-35/DT&/24/189 dated 15-03-2024 on the subject noted above and to clarify/inform that in light of this Department’s Notification dated n 205-02-2022 at S.No. 3 (copy enclosed), Weather Allowance is not admissible to the clerical staff of vacation departments in all categorized weather areas except class-iv on duty during the admissible period. Please.

Earlier the KP Government issued the Notification of Weather Allowance 2021 to Civil Servants of KPK on 01-07-2021.
Clarification Sought
The Director-Treasurer and Accounts Khyber Pakhtunkhwa earlier asked for clarification about This allowance’s admissibility. Now the Finance Department clarified that the clerical staff will not get this allowance as per the rules. However, the class IV employees will get this allowance. They will get the Weather Allowance at the specific period of the year. There is also recent news of a salary increase budget 2023-24 @ 10 to 15% for Government employees.
