Government of Sindh, Finance Department issued a Notification on 27-05-2024 in connection with Group Life Insurance Policies for Government Retired Employees / Pensioners. The details are as follows:

Group Life Insurance Policies for Government Retired Employees or Pensioners

I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and o state that various pensioners / retired employees’ Welfare Associations are approaching this department for the adoption of Group Life Insurance policies as effective in the Govt of KPK and the Govt of Baluchistan.

It is, therefore, requested that the respective Group Life Insurance Act/rules/regulations/policies as applicable to the employees / civil servants of your esteemed Government May Kindly be shared with this department, so that a comparative analysis and subsequent decision-making for revision in the prevailing Group Insurance Scheme for Civil Servants of Government of Sindh may be processed accordingly in the matter.
