The Government of Sindh, Finance Department issued a Notification on 25-05-2024 in connection with the Request for Clarification Regarding the Award of the Time Scale to PST Primary School Teachers. The details are as follows:
Clarification Regarding the Award of the Time Scale to PST (Primary School Teachers)
I am directed to refer to the letter No.DAO/DU/F. P/6541/2023, dated 15-11-2023 on the subject noted above, It is informed that the PSTs initially appointed in BPS-09 are entitled to be awarded BPS-12, BPS-14, BPS-15, and BPS-16 on the basis of the time scale upon completion of 09, 14, 21, and 25 years respectively or, w.e.f 28-11-2011 whichever is later and the length of the service will be so be calculated W.E.F the date of initial appointment (Regular), in terms of Time Scale policy circular dated 07-06-2010 and 21-7-2014.
It is further conveyed that PSTs initially appointed in BPS-7 are entitled to be awarded BPS-12 BPS-14, BPS-15, and BPS-16 on the basis of the time scale upon completion of 09, 14, 21, and 25 years respectively or, w.e.f 05-01-2018 whichever is later and the length of the service will be so be calculated W.E.F the date of initial appointment (Regular), in terms of Time Scale Policy Sindh circular dated 07-06-2010 and 21-7-2014 and 05-01-2018 (Copies enclosed).
Furthermore, it is stated that in case of any wrong award of time scale scales, wrong pay fixations, and/or any excess payment on this account to the PSTs, pay fixation may be revised in accordance with the above-mentioned clarification thus, the recoveries may be affected, accordingly.

Before this Sindh Government Finance Department issued a letter to all concerned for the implementation of Group Life Insurance Policies for Retired Employees / Pensioners of the province of Sindh. This letter shows the interest of the Sindh government in granting the same to the pensioners.
