Notification Public Holidays on Eid-ul-Azha 2024 Federal Government of Pakistan

Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat Cabinet Division issued a Press Release on 11-06-2024 in connection with the Notification Eid-ul-Azha Holidays 2024. The government announced holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha 2024 with effect from 17th June 2024 to 19th June 2024 (Monday to Wednesday).

The Federal Government employees will have a total of five holidays on Eid ul Azha 2024. The details are as follows:

If the Federal Government employees get to leave on Thursday 20 June and Friday 21 June 2024, they will enjoy the whole week holidays for nine days (09 days). The Cabinet Secretariat has already issued the Notification of Public and Optional Holidays 2024 in Pakistan. In this Notification, the Cabinet Secretariat also mentioned the same days and dates of holidays. There is also mention of holidays on 17, 18, and 19 June 2024.

Declaration of Public Holidays on the Occasion of Eid-ul-Azha

In the continuation of Cabinet Division’s Circular No.10-2/2023-Min-II dated 20th December 2023 listing public and optional holidays for the year 2024, it is for general information that the Prime Minister has been pleased to declare 17th to 19th June 2024 (Monday to Wednesday) as public holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
