Notification Public Holidays on Ashura 2024 (16th and 17th July2024)

Governmet of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat Cabinet Division issued a Notification on 09-07-2024 in connection with Holidays on Ashura 2024 (16th and 17th July2024). The Government announced a public holiday on 9th and 10th Moharram-ul-Haram. The details are as follows:

In continuation of Cabinets Division’s circular No. 10-/2013-Min-II dated 20th December, 2023 listing pubic and optional holidays for the years 2024, the Prime Minister has been pleased to declare 16th and 17th July, 2024 (Tuesday & Wednesday) as public holidays on the occasion of Ashura (9th & 10th Muharram 1446 AH)

The press release is for wide publicity through all major English and Urdu dailies and electronic media.
