Government of Pakistan, Finance Division issued a Notification on 10-07-2024 in connection with the Increase Pension 2024 Federal Pensioners. The Pensioners of the Federal Government will get an increase in pension @ 15% of their net pension. They will get an increase in pension with effect from 1st July 2024. The details are as follows:
Increase Pension 2024 Federal Pensioners (15% of Net Pension)
As per the Notification, the President of Pakistan has been pleased to sanction an increase @ 15% of net pension with wef 01-07-2024 until further orders to all civil pensioners of the Federal Government. These pensioners also include pensioners of Defence Paid Estimates as well as retired Armed Forces personnel. The Civil Armed Forces personnel are also included in it.
Eligibility of Pension Increase @ 15% of Net Pension
The increase in pension as above mentioned @ 15% will also be admissible to the pensioners who would retire on or after 1st July 2024. It means that employees who still working and not yet retired and who retired on 1st July and later will also get this increase in pension @ 15% of the net pension.
The Net pension means total pension minus medical increase for pensions.
This is a good OM of the Federal Government, The Government increased the reasonable amount in Pension keeping in view the current financial situation of the country. The Pension who already retired and who will retire in the future both will get this increase in pension @ 15% of the net pension.
The Federal Government also issued the Notification of Adhoc Relief Allowance 2024 for Federal Government employees. This ARA-2024 the employees will also get from the same date as pension increase date.
The employees having /getting special additional pensions will not get this increase in pension. The family pensioners will also get this increase in pension at the same rate as general pensioners. There are certain other conditions for the same. The pensioners will get the pension increase as per the above all conditions.
